Built around 1810, the charming Broughton House is located in 2 acres of gardens, south of the Lake District National Park. It has hearty Aga breakfasts and spacious bedrooms.

Produce used in the breakfast is locally sourced and includes eggs from the hens in the garden. The bread is homemade and lighter options such as scrambled eggs and Cartmel Valley smoked salmon are also available.
