Situated by the shores of Lough Ree, Shannon Holidays offer holiday cabins set on a 3-acre site and adjoining 150 acres of woodland and lakeshore walks. Each cabin boasts a private harbour for fishing and sail boats. The property is 5 km from the beautiful village of Glasson and 11 km from Athlone.
Most cabins are built from native Douglas Fir, sourced locally, whereas the 'Shackleton Cabin' is made from cedar and imported from Canada by the previous owners.
